Nicotine replacement therapies (NRT) can be bought over the counter in pharmacies or can be prescribed by your doctor. There are lots of different NRT products available these days. Find out which might be the best one for you. As well as traditional nicotine replacement therapy there are two medicines available which can be prescribed by your doctor. These are buproprion (Zyban®) and varenicline (Champix®).
